Boy Scout Climbing Merit Badge Course

We offer instruction to the Boy Scouts of America for the purpose of fulfilling the Climbing Merit Badge Requirements. ALL Climbing merit badge requirements will be presented and tested by the end of the session.

Course Details:

Course Length : Information will usually be covered in one day from 9AM – 3PM (but times will vary depending on size of group). All gear necessary to Climb & Rappel is included

Course Pre-requisites:

Boy Scouts MUST HAVE a properly signed WAIVER before they may participate in any activity at On The Edge
Individuals must be properly dressed for belaying, climbing, and rappelling as per boy scout merit badge requirements

• Location
• Verbal signals
• Rope types & inspection
• Knots
• Fitting into harness and harness inspection
• Belaying
• Climbing
• Rappelling
• Proper storage of climbing equipment

Cost: $60 per participant (5 person minimum)

Deposit: 50% two weeks prior to course date
