YOGA / Pilates Classes

FREE for Members, this class combines movements and poses from Pilates and Yoga to maximize the benefit. Flexibility and core strength are an important part of being a well-rounded climber and this class helps improve both. Class is held weekly on Monday Nights at 6:00 PM. 

Hatha Yoga with Greg – Monday and Thursday 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Acro Yoga Foundations with Julie and Jason – Friday 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Basic Movement / Technique

This class is designed for people with little to no experience with indoor rock climbing and anyone who would like a thorough refresher in the basics. It deals with the most basic aspects of climbing movement, and is for novice climbers only. Topics include foot placement, body position, hand holds, basic training and rest principles. Lead Climbing

This class is designed for climbers ready to progress to indoor lead climbing. Instruction includes:

  • Rope management while leading (clipping, stances, avoiding tangles, etc.)

     

  • Belaying a lead climber

     

  • Safety considerations for both climbers and belayers in a gym setting

Class Schedule:
Held on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month
6:00 – 7:00 PM

Prerequisites

  • Have completed a Top Rope Belay Certification
  • Be consistently flashing 5.10+ routes
